Harbor Rose
Available July through October, this four-bedroom, four-bathroom haven overlooking Somes Sound is a magical setting for an Acadia vacation with friends, a family reunion on Mount Desert Island, or a couples’ retreat in Maine. This coastal oasis is part rustic cottage, part lavish retreat, and 100% amazing. The first floor is the heart of the home, with a stylish living/dining area with a flatscreen TV, high-end couches, a wood-burning fireplace, and a formal dining room table. Thoughtfully designed and lavishly outfitted for entertaining, the chef’s kitchen features marble countertops with an industrial stove, two industrial ovens (including one griddle), three sinks, two dishwashers, a microwave oven, and an ice machine. Best of all, the kitchen is open to the large screened-in porch with abundant seating, an expansive dining area, and breathtaking views of the water and mountains beyond.
The first-floor bedrooms include one Queen bedroom with a private bathroom, one King bedroom with a private bathroom, and a deck with a lovely view of Somes Sound. Upstairs, you’ll find two more King bedrooms, both offering stunning water views. One with a deck and the other with a Juliette balcony. The bathroom within the primary King bedroom features a separate tub and shower instead of the bath/shower combo your guests will enjoy in all the other rooms. All four private bathrooms have towel warms, luxurious linens, and premium accessories.
Perfect for extended stays, this extraordinary property includes a washer/dryer and a magnificent outdoor entertaining area overlooking the water, complete with Adirondack chairs and a Solo Stove firepit.
Harbor Rose requires a 7-day minimum reservation at $25,000 per week and can be booked online or by calling 207-244-5036.
Ocean House
A waterfront haven for families or the ultimate gathering place for friends, Ocean House is unlike any other vacation experience in Maine. You and your guests will feel like you’re on your own private resort despite the fact that you’re just steps away from our dock and waterfront bar. The first-floor deck offers panoramic views of Somes Sound and the Atlantic Ocean. Inside, Ocean House has a kitchenette and dining area plus a cozy living room with a gas fireplace and walls of windows. The first-floor master bedroom features a queen-size bed while the two upstairs bedrooms have one king- and one queen-size bed and balconies with water views. All bedrooms have private bathrooms.
