Historic Main Hotel Rooms
Premier Rooms & Suites
Larger living areas, quieter surroundings, and gas fireplaces or decks are just a few of the available benefits that make Phillips and Summer House special. After The Claremont Hotel opened in 1884, two affluent families built summer homes on adjacent lots. Previous owners acquired these properties and converted them into guest houses that we completely renovated and upgraded. Whichever room or suite you choose, you’ll be surrounded by luxury and elegant design in the form of Sister Parish wallcoverings, textiles from William Morris & Pierre Frey. The only things you won’t find are desks or workstations. It’s our way of encouraging you to make relaxation your top priority.
